A classical design means a design that does not go out of fashion - timeless in beauty and value. When choosing a dress ring or an engagement ring I would stay away from fads. Rather go for something that appeals to you and that you can wear for the rest of your life. Whether it is diamonds and platinum, or garnet and silver - the material does not matter. What matters is that it is wearable, practical and beautiful.
This is a fine example of a classical design. It is in the form of an antique diamond engagement ring. The fine detail on the shoulders are hand made and set with perfect tiny diamonds. The center gemstone is a pure blue topaz.
It is handcrafted in 18ct yellow and white gold by our goldsmiths in South Africa. It is a very striking engagement ring which shows off the gemstones rather than the gold work.
